CIS 16 Channel Islands

Starting from Lymington Marina we have planned a sailex to the Channel Islands.  Three modern Jeanneau 42i yachts with three cabins and two heads have been chartered for this event, and .  All yachts are now fully booked The yachts are well equipped for such an event and making a start from Lymington Marina we are well placed for the needles passage and the channel.

The aim of this trip will be to cross the Channel from Lymington to the Channel Islands and explore the area before returning to the Solent.   Possible  islands to visit include - Alderney, Guernsey, Sark, Jersey and Herm.    This expedition will give those aspiring to RYA Yachtmaster Practical Courses the possibility of qualifying passages. With strong tides, challenging navigation and exciting sailing, a trip to these beautiful islands is one not to be missed!Area like the “Alderney Race” and “The Swinge” offer opportunities for some of the fastest SOG you will experience on a Yacht.    This time we plan have larger Yachts, Jeanneau 42’s, for faster and more comfortable cruising, so with favourable weather Jersey is a realistic port of call.
